Not much of a case? Well, maybe not, but if enough people did this, the place would lose business REAL quick. A lot of people don't consider this to be a 'big' deal, but they fail to realize, that its not the money. Its the complete lack of respect for the people who keep this business going. I personally would be extremely pissed off with the amount of time something like that takes. Its time you won't get back, and could have completely been prevented. If I am waiting in line, I look around to see what the employees are doing. If the are 'busy', then it can't be helped. If they are slowing things down by dicking around, and not paying attention, I usually just leave whatever it is I was going to buy in line, and leave. I would never wait long in line unless what I was buying was a necessity. I don't want to give the store that much of my time, simply because I don't know exactly how much I have. One good example of what happens with poor customer service over a long period of time; Eatons, a dept store in canada. Been around over 100+ years. Anyways, their service got continually worse and worse. Customer service was NON-Existent, and as the market expanded, people didn't want to have to put up with the arrogance. (You could walk around for a good half hour looking to pay someone for the product, horrible service). They talked about restructuring and a million other things to keep the business afloat. They sunk HARD. All they had to do go back to the basics, fire most employees, and hire ones that didn't hate working there. they would still be around. It was through word of mouth and 1st hand experience that people learned there is better service out there. If enough people complained about this BB store, business would slow down slightly. Enough to make the management rethink things as they watch their profits decline. This method DOES work, and if enough people believed it did, we wouldn't have to put up with such typical shi#$y north american corporate BS. thats my 2 cents. ps I would rather be wasting my time on tt.net than wasting my time in line, cause the checkout clerk cindy has to tell her co-worker how her shampoo really dries out her hair and makes it 'flat'.
